A stark and poignant dedication to the 200,000 Frenchmen who were deported to Nazi concentration camps during WWII. No one I saw there left without a tear or sniffle. The focus of this modern pavilion of remembrance is the hall of 200,000 lighted crystals to those who were deported. I am only sorry my photos cannot do it justice.
